Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Training and Certification:

About the Program:

Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (LSSYB) works towards improving the performance and profitability of an organization by increasing process efficiency and eliminating waste. The Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (LSSYB) understands the basic objectives and methods of a Six Sigma project. Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (LSSYB) is supposed to have an elementary understanding about what other Lean Six Sigma Belts viz. Lean Six Sigma Green Belts (LSSGB), Lean Six Sigma Black Belts (LSSBB) and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belts (LSSMBB) are doing to help them succeed.

Supervisors, Managers, Directors and sometimes Executives are usually trained at the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt level.

Learning Objectives – Upon successful completion of Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Training and Certification Program:

The participant will be able to understand the basics of Lean Six Sigma and help develop the culture of Lean Six Sigma in the organization. About the Program:

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB) works towards improving the performance and profitability of an organization by increasing process efficiency and eliminating waste using the Lean Six Sigma DMAIC methodology. Six Sigma DMAIC is a short form of Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control. There are different levels of training and certification within the Six Sigma system, including the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (LSSYB), Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (LSSMBB).

Learning Objectives – Upon successful completion of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Training and Certification Program:

The participant will be able to analyze and solve problems pertaining to process variation. Training on various statistical tools will help the participants to determine the relationship between key inputs and process outputs. Understanding and application of Lean concepts like 5S, Muda identification, Poka-Yoke will help eliminate / reduce losses there by bringing a lot of savings for the organization.

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) works towards improving the performance and profitability of an organization by increasing process efficiency and eliminating waste. There are different levels of training and certification within the Six Sigma system, including the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (LSSYB), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB) and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (LSSMBB). LSSBB is well rounded in terms of project management, statistical analysis, financial analysis, meeting facilitation, prioritization and a whole host of other value added capabilities which make a LSSBB highly valuable asset in the business world. LSSBB commonly serves as the dedicated resource continuing their line management role while achieving LSSBB certification simultaneously.

Our Lean Six Sigma Certification Course Accreditation

Our Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt programs are accredited by The Council for Six Sigma Certification (SSC)

The Council for Six Sigma Certification is a professional association devoted to maintaining minimum standards for both Six Sigma Certification and Lean Six Sigma Certification.

They are a third-party accrediting body within the Six Sigma industry that does not provide training, mentoring, coaching, or consulting services. Their objective is to ensure that Six Sigma Certified individuals have been exposed to the complete Six Sigma Body of Knowledge and have been required to meet a minimum standard of proficiency for six sigma and its implementation.

This is achieved by requiring all training and/or certification providers to meet specific criteria in not only their education requirements, but also in their testing requirements. Our accredited training providers are rigorously reviewed to ensure that they meet an extensive checklist of compliance.

Once approved, accredited providers are monitored to determine if the program has been altered, a new instructor is introduced, or a certification requirement is modified.

Originally founded in 2005, they review Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Black Belt, Master Black Belt, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training/certification providers. Trainers include university programs, third party training providers, corporate training programs, independent consultants, and consulting firms.

To prevent any conflict of interest, The Council for Six Sigma Certification does not itself offer Six Sigma Certification or Lean Six Sigma Certification. Instead, accredited providers are permitted to use our seal on marketing materials and/or final certification materials as long as they maintain active status in our listing.
